ACC

There are a number of ACC products and levy discount programmes available to businesses to assist in minimizing the cost of ACC.

SELF EMPLOYED

ACC CoverPlus: provides personal injury cover for the self-employed, with access to the full range of medical treatment and rehabilitation benefits and compensation for lost earnings in the event of injury.

ACC CoverPlus Extra: provides greater flexibility and certainty for self-employed and non-PAYE shareholder-employees by allowing you to pay preminums at an agreed level of lost earnings compensation in the event of injury resulting in time off work.

ACC TimeOut: ensures that people are covered if they take time off work and they are injured during the break from work. It can provide weekly payments of up to 80% of the amount they were earning before they took their break, if they are injured and unable to return to work.

ACC Workplace Safety Discounts: are a great way for self-employed people to reduce workplace hazards and be rewarded for it. They may be eligible to receive a 10% discount on the work portions of their levies by recognising and controlling the main hazards in and around their workplace.

EMPLOYERS

ACC WorkPlace Cover: provides access to no-fault cover for employee work-related personal injuries. It is provided automatically to all of your employees.

ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices: is a programme that can strengthen safety systems and turn good safety intentions into concrete achievements. It is more suited to medium-sized and large employers. They may be eligible to receive discounts on the standard ACC Workplace Cover Levy in return for putting structures in place to manage and improve workplace safety.

ACC TimeOut: ensures that employees are covered if they take time off work and are injured during that time off & are unable to return to work. It can provide weekly payments of up to 80% of the amount they were earning before they took their break, if they are injured and unable to return to work.

ACC Partnership Programme: offers significant levy discounts to large employers who take responsibility for their own workplace health and safety and the management of workplace injuries.

ACC Employer Reimbursement Agreement: allows large employers to be directly involved in the claims process of their employees.

Other ACC Cover:
